Truliant FCU, Hiway FCU, CHROME FCU Reveal New Hires

This past week, five credit unions plus TMG Financial Services welcomed new executives to their staff. Plus, a credit union CEO in Indiana received a Cooperative Hero Award for outstanding leadership.

The $2 billion Truliant Federal Credit Union in Winston-Salem, N.C., hired Jon Fox (pictured) as senior financial advisor. Fox will offer investment guidance to member-owners to help them pursue individual and business goals through financial planning, insurance and investments. Most recently, Fox worked for the local official of Hillard Lyons financial consulting. Fox has more than three decades of banking experience.

The $1 billion Hiway Federal Credit Union in St. Paul, Minn., hired Scott Burger as business loan officer. Burger has more than 25 years of experience in consumer, mortgage and commercial lending in the Twin Cities area, most recently with Bank Cherokee in St. Paul. Burger said he is a firm believer in giving back to the community through volunteering and is a member of the West St. Paul/Mendota Heights Rotary Club. He graduated from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities with a degree in economics.

The $861 million Sierra Central Credit Union in Yuba City, Calif., hired Gene Marcucci Bell as vice president of business services. Bell comes to Sierra Central from Community Business Bank where she was SVP/senior lending officer, responsible for management of the bank’s loan portfolio including overall credit quality, underwriting and administrative standards.

The $135 million CHROME Federal Credit Union hired five new employees, and three of them filled newly created positions. Patricia Morrissey (pictured) was hired as CFO. Previously, she was president/CEO of the $35 million Pittsburgh Central Federal Credit Union. Pittsburgh Central merged into CHROME effective Oct. 1. Morrissey began her credit union career as a principal examiner with the NCUA. She held this position for 10 years before leaving the agency to start a family. Julia Kramkova was hired as vice president/chief marketing officer. She has an extensive background in digital marketing and social media. At CHROME, she will focus on financial education content and turn the credit union’s website, blog and social channels into an educational destination for customers and members of the community seeking financial advice.

Donna Farah (pictured) was hired as digital lending specialist.She brings a strong background in retail and customer service experience to her newly created position. She previously spent the last nine years with National City/PNC Bank as a financial sales consultant. Jessica Reams was hired as digital lending specialist. She analyzes cost saving solutions for CHROME customers and introduces new products and services that help manage their finances and their lives in her newly created position. She is in her final semester of graduate school to earn her MBA from California University of Pennsylvania.

Natalie Corso was hired as executive assistant. In her newly created position at CHROME, she supports the leadership team while collaborating with a variety of staff members on different projects. She has worked in credit union marketing, member services and operations. At Pittsburgh Central, she grew the credit union’s Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn audiences, implemented a staff training program and organized monthly sessions for all employees to grow their knowledge base and stay up to date with rules, regulations and policies.

The $1.2 billion Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union in Lowell, Mass., hired Robert Boley as the new branch manager of the credit union’s Westford, Mass., branch. Boley will be supervising overall operations and everyday branch activities. He is looking forward to mentoring staff, growing business in the Westford Branch and becoming an active part of the community.

George McNichols, president/CEO of the $469 million Hoosier Hills Credit Union in Bedford, Ind., received the 2016 Cooperative Hero Award for his leadership in the Indiana community of credit unions. The award was presented by the Indiana Cooperative Development Center at the organization’s Cooperative Summit on Nov. 3. As part of the recognition, McNichols was inducted into the Indiana Cooperative Hall of Fame.

TMG Financial Services, a top-65 credit card agent issuer and advisory services firm, hired an employee and promoted another. Shawna Pritchard was hired as collections manager. She will provide operational support, management, leadership and coaching to in-house collections analysts, as well as to third-party recovery agents. Pritchard will be responsible for ensuring TMGFS’ collection policies and procedures are in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Jennifer McGinley was promoted to manager of client service. She will manage the operational relationship between TMGFS and its partners, ensuring an outstanding card member experience. She will work with the operations team to implement strategic goals, as well as provide operational support, management, leadership and coaching to TMGFS’ client services team.
